Okay, since obviously I'm having trouble finding time to blog about my own uninteresting life lately, I'll direct you to Tom Harper's latest blog post. I had not heard of this incident, even though it happened in the state I currently reside, and it literally made my heart sick.

I actually saw this news item last week. I cannot believe not one single fireman had the sympathy, empathy, or the balls to put the damn fire out. Shame on all of them. With neighbors like that, who needs enemies?
Right!? This is so morally and ethically revolting it feels like a physical assault.
And though not at all surprising that the hateful asswipe Glenn Beck would actually defend the "actions" taken, it's like another punch to the gut.
What the fuck is WRONG with people!?
It's like a doctor watching someone die in front of them and doing nothing to stop them because the person doesnt have insurance. Doctors are sworn to save lives... it's part of the Hippocratic Oath. I would think some firemen would feel the same sense of integrity... Their job is to save homes... and people... I was disgusted by this news story as well.
